JUNIOR TECHNICAL DESIGNER

Your responsibilities

• Create initial technical garment files (tech pack), including measurement specifications for new garments and grading rules where applicable;
• Measure samples to ensure that their fits and construction meet the specifications and desired appearance of the garment;
• Participate in fitting sessions and suggest corrections to ensure that the fit of the clothing is perfect;
• Assist in quality control of production on samples received according to the guidelines and standards put in place;
• Perform any other related tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
  

Your profile

• Possess or be in the process of obtaining an attestation of college studies (AEC) or a diploma of college studies (DEC) in fashion design;
• Have one (1) to three (3) year(s) of experience in a similar position;
• Master the Office suite;
• Possess technical knowledge regarding garment construction;
• Have excellent command of Illustrator software;
• Have the ability to manage several projects at once;
• Pay particular attention to details;
• Be organized;
• Master French orally and in writing;
• Master written English;
• Mastery of Optitex software is considered an asset.
