Your responsibilities

  • Coordinate and assign the work to be accomplished within the team ;

  • Motivate the team to achieve and exceed established performance measures;

  • Act as a leader with the team on a daily basis;

  • Ensure the smooth running of the daily rotation of the distribution center, including receipt of merchandise, preparation of orders, warehousing, shipments or returns of merchandise as well as inventory management and stock rotation ;

  • Ensure that JOELLE inc. policies and procedures are maintained. ;

  • Carry out work schedule planning and timesheet management;

  • Enforce and respect occupational health and safety rules;

  • Participate in cyclical counts and the annual physical inventory;

  • Communicate continuous improvement initiatives to his immediate supervisor;

  • All other related tasks as assigned by his supervisor.

Your role

As a Warehouse Team Leader , you will ensure the smooth running of all activities carried out at the distribution center . More precisely, you will be responsible for planning and organizing tasks within the team , you will optimize resources, you will ensure the execution of processes and the accuracy of stocks.

  • Ensure the cleanliness and constant organization of the distribution center;

  • Assist the team in their daily tasks during busy periods;

Your profile

  • Hold a secondary school diploma (DES) or the equivalent;

  • Have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in a warehouse / distribution center including two (2) years of experience as a team leader ;

  • Be solution-oriented;

  • Have the ability to perform several tasks simultaneously;

  • Know how to work and collaborate in a team;

  • Possess excellent communication skills;

  • Have a good knowledge of computer software;

  • Have good stress management;

  • Have an excellent overview and a good spirit of synthesis;

  • Have a good ability to adapt to changes.
